Our thin sound control coating can greatly reduce vibrations and noise that can be harmful to troops and also interfere with their ability to communicate from within the vehicles.

Detroit, MI (PRWEB) June 20, 2013

Mascoat, the global leader in premium thermal insulation coatings for industrial, transportation and marine applications, will be exhibiting at the Military Vehicles Exhibition & Conference 2013 on July 31 and August 1 at the Cobo Convention Center in Detroit, MI.

The Military Vehicles Exhibition & Conference is the largest auto show in the United States with over 200 exhibitors and 2,000 attendees expected from 28 countries. This is the fifth year of the Expo and has been expanded to include armored vehicles for national security and law enforcement.

“This is our first year to exhibit at this show. We decided to attend because we know how important insulation is to military vehicles, especially with many of our troops being in very high heat areas like the Middle East,” said Will Conner, Marketing Director at Mascoat.

Mascoat will be exhibiting the ability of Mascoat Transportation-DTA Thermal Insulation at their booth, which protects personnel from up to 350o F temperatures at a thickness between just 1 and 3 millimeters, as well as Sound Control-dB’s vibration-reducing characteristics.

“DTA will be a great alternative to matte types of insulation because they are thin and lightweight, very important traits for heavy duty military vehicles that need to save weight and space wherever they can. Our thin sound control coating can greatly reduce vibrations and noise that can be harmful to troops and also interfere with their ability to communicate from within the vehicles.”

At the expo, Will Conner and Automotive Specialist Paul McMillion will be representing Mascoat.

“We are looking forward to learning about the many military applications that will benefit from the use of these exciting technologies that have seen so much success in the Industrial, Marine, Commercial and Personal Automotive Industries.”
