Boerne, TX (PRWEB) June 18, 2013
Centennial Bank Chairman and CEO J. David Williams today announced the groundbreaking of a new, full-service banking center in Boerne, Texas, at Highway 46 and Herff Ranch Road, June 21 at 9:30am. As a response to the success of their Boerne Loan Production Office over the last two years, Centennial Bank will open the new banking center in early 2014 to better serve the Boerne community.
“We recognize the Hill Country as one of the premier areas and growth markets in Texas. We believe that Boerne is well-positioned to be a part of our continued growth as we further establish roots in that region,” said Chairman Williams.
The state-of-the-art banking center will offer innovative products, services, technology and convenience while providing full-service banking capabilities to both existing and prospective customers. Centennial Bank enjoys its reputation as a leader in their industry, bringing Texas the best in community banking.
“There has never been a better time to enter the Boerne market,” said Chairman Williams. “We look forward to expanding our role in the community as we continue to bring our customers the highest level of customer service and commitment they’ve come to expect from Centennial Bank.”
C. Brett McDowell, Executive Vice President and Hill Country Lending Manager, opened the Loan Production Office in December 2011 where he remained until December 2012 when we was promoted to his current position. McDowell’s heavy involvement in the community was essential in Centennial Bank’s growth and market development in Boerne. He will continue to oversee lending and sales management functions at the new banking center.
Kevin Thompson, Senior Vice President and Boerne Market Manager, whose leadership has been key in expanding Centennial Bank’s presence in the Hill Country, will serve as Banking Center Manager. He will be joined by other members of Executive Management, the Board of Directors and City and Chamber officials for the groundbreaking.
Centennial Bank brings 80 years of Texas banking expertise to customers across four key regions of Texas – the Hill Country, Lubbock, the Panhandle/South Plains and West Texas. The $715 million community bank operates 12 full-service banking centers and two loan production offices with a full-service business banking center opening in Lubbock mid-summer 2013.
