USLegal, Inc., a leading provider of online legal information, software products, forms and document preparation services, today announced the appointment of Jason Woodlee to the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, Jason will have responsibility for all aspects of technology for USLegal, including product development, infrastructure, and technology strategy. He will be based in the company’s New Jersey office.

Woodlee previously worked at LexisNexis, where he was Chief Architect for the Martindale-Hubbell division. Most recently, Jason served as senior technology lead at CrowdTap, a venture-backed start-up based in New York City. At CrowdTap, he helped build a leading web-based social media platform used by clients to interact with consumers for feedback, product discovery, sampling and social marketing of products. Prior to LexisNexis, Jason was VP of Technology for Reval.com, a leading SaaS vendor of Financial Derivative Accounting Software to the Global 1000. Before that, he worked for a division of Sungard, a leading provider of mission critical technology to capital markets customers. Earlier in his career, he successfully ran his own consulting company (The Sirapath Group) serving the needs of Fortune 100 companies such as Wyeth, Aventis and Prudential. Jason is a native of Louisiana and holds a BS in Computer Science from Boston University.
