Graduates from across Canada will receive their MACP for completing the intensive Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology Program this Friday, June 21. The students have completed 24 months of online study and 400 additional hours of practicum placement in the field. The keynote speaker at the ceremony will be Mayor Brad Woodside.

Yorkville University, one of the first universities in Canada to focus on degree programs offered primarily online, has created one of Canada’s most dynamic and practical Masters programs in the field of counselling psychology. By assembling a first-class and diverse group of professors, the University has established a program that draws on a full range of contemporary research and practice paradigms. The program is designed to give graduates the strongest possible base from which to start or continue down the path as a professional counsellor.

An innovative online curriculum allows the MACP Program student body to study across Canada. Students and their families will travel from as far as West Kelowna BC, Timmins ON and St. John’s NFLD to attend the ceremony at the Delta Fredericton. Flexible course schedules allow students to balance work, home life and their education so that they advance their careers without putting their daily lives on hold.
