Visit Santa Rosa Celebrates 10 Years of Service as an Official California Welcome Center; Has Welcomed Over 500,000 Visitors

In 2003, Visit Santa Rosa’s Visitor Center was awarded the official designation as a California Welcome Center. Since this honor, the Welcome Center housed in the 1906 historic train depot has received over 500 thousand visitors and brought over 50 million dollars in economic impact to the local economy; they are now celebrating 10 years of service with a a power networking & ribbon cutting event.

Visit Santa Rosa & The California Welcome Center Santa Rosa announce the 10 year anniversary of service to visitors and the community. The celebration will include an array of local dignitaries, government officials and hospitality industry leaders. Food and entertainment from popular local vendors will complement this opportunity for industry and the public to get to know fellow hospitality members and community VIP’s & decision makers. The festivities will take place on Thursday, July 18th at 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Welcome Center: 9 Fourth Street in historic Railroad Square, Santa Rosa.
