Community Partners in Action (CPA), a nonprofit organization committed to building community by providing services that promote accountability, dignity and restoration for people affected by the criminal justice system, recently held its 16th Annual Honorable John P. Maloney CPA Golf Tournament, which honored the contributions of longtime supporter, Kevin Grenham, President and COO of Future Benefits, Inc., and raised more than $37,000 for the statewide nonprofit.

“We are grateful to our volunteers and donors for their support of Community Partners in Action and its efforts to reduce recidivism,” Maureen Price-Boreland, Executive Director for Community Partners in Action, said. “It is our honor to recognize Kevin Grenham of Future Benefits as our 2013 Honorable John P. Maloney Hall of Fame Inductee for his commitment to Community Partners in Action.”

The Honorable John P. Maloney was a champion of Community Partners in Action and its work to reduce recidivism. A longtime friend of the organization, Judge John P. Maloney served as a volunteer in numerous capacities for more than 40 years. The year’s Honorable John P. Maloney Hall of Fame Inductee, Kevin Grenham, has demonstrated a deep commitment to the organization’s mission over the past decade, serving 10 years on the golf committee and as a past tournament chair.

“I can’t think of a better organization to be involved with,” Kevin Grenham, President and COO, Future Benefits, Inc., said. “The success of CPA’s programs results in a benefit to all of us. So many impacted by the criminal justice system have little support or opportunity to look forward to. CPA is the second chance, the support, the opportunity.”

Funds raised from the Tournament will support Community Partners in Action’s programs, which include a wide range of offerings for adolescents and adults, all of which help clients to develop transferrable skills and work towards a successful re-entry into society.

The 16th Annual Honorable John P. Maloney CPA Golf Tournament was chaired by John McKenna, Goodman, Rosenthal & McKenna PC and Amy Horowitz, Esq., Law Offices of Amy J. Horowitz. The Title Sponsor was Future Benefits, Inc.
