There's no better time to plan ahead for the 2014 Ryder Cup than now, because of the tremendous savings.

Broach Sports Tours is offering discounts for all of its of 2014 Ryder Cup golf travel packages as the initial deadline for the Ryder Cup registration nears.

Fans putting down a 10 percent deposit before July 21, 2013, can receive a $300 per person discount on any of Broach Sports Tours’ four packages. July 21 is the day that the initial ticket lottery is held, although Broach can still obtain tickets past that date.

The Ryder Cup is scheduled for Sept. 26-28, 2014 at the Gleneagles Resort in Scotland.

“There’s no better time to plan ahead for the 2014 Ryder Cup than now, because of the tremendous savings,” president Tom Broach said.

“This has all the earmarks of being one of the most memorable Ryder Cups ever. We were at Medinah in 2012 when the European team pulled off its miracle comeback and we know that the American team will be primed to get revenge.”

Fans can choose from four unique packages, including one that combines travel to London.

The 3-night Silver package includes three nights hotel accommodations at the Carlton Hotel in Edinburgh, tickets for either the Friday and Saturday, or Saturday and Sunday sessions at the Ryder Cup, transportation to and from Gleneagles, and various other amenities. That package is priced at $2388 per person based on double occupancy, minus the $300 discount for booking by July 1, 2013.

The 4-night Gold package includes four nights hotel accommodations at the Carlton Hotel in Edinburgh, tickets for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday sessions at the Ryder Cup, transportation to and from Gleneagles, and various other amenities. That package is priced at $2975 per person based on double occupancy minus the discount.

The London-Edinburgh 7-night package includes three nights hotel accommodations at the Marriott County Hall in London, Britrail train transportation from London to Edinburgh, four nights hotel accommodations at the Carlton Hotel in Edinburgh, tickets for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday sessions at the Ryder Cup, transportation to and from Gleneagles, and various other amenities. That package is priced at $3950 per person based on double occupancy minus the discount.

There is also a 7-night Edinburgh play package that gives travelers the chance to play Scottish links courses such as North Berwick and Gullane, plus seven nights hotel accommodations at the Carlton, tickets for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday sessions at the Ryder Cup, transportation to and from Gleneagles and various other amenities. That package is priced at $4244 per person based on double occupancy.

“We can also customize packages to include day trips to St. Andrews and bookings on other great Scottish courses,” Broach said. “Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee tee times on the Old Course but we can still experience all that is great about St. Andrews.”
