Positively Kids, an organization that is dedicated to cultivating in children a positive response to life’s unexpected sour moments cleverly created a poster that youngsters can glance at and follow the “Steps To Happiness.” Founded in 2010, Positively Kids is a multi-media company that produces entertainment products for children that promotes positive thinking and making positive choices. They recently released the “Steps To Happiness” poster that parents and educators have been raving about.

At first glance, the poster is bright, colorful and looks like a boatload of fun. There are nine steps to follow, like: “Dance,” “Laugh Out Loud,” and “Listen to Music” and more. All of the prompts are positive but they serve a much larger purpose. The steps are intended to give kids a visual they can use so they automatically know the steps they can take to feel better when they are down. By seeing the steps on the poster on a daily basis, the steps will become a habit they remember when bad situations arise. This is a positive habit they can carry into adulthood.

Positively Kids founder, Stacey Crumrine shared why a poster like this can have a constructive long term impact. “By having kids learn positive choices while they are young, during times when they feel bad or grumpy or down, they will be developing a habit for happiness. We believe they will be less likely to go for the negative choices like alcohol, food, drugs, etc. that so many adults reach for to cope with stress."

Positively Kids has received national recognition and awards for its programming. Creative Child awarded Positively Kids’ "Be Happy" CD its 2011 Best Of Excellence award. The Mom's Best Award also recognized the CD as one of its best mom-tested, mom-approved media products of the year.

The company believes in its key message, ‘developing big hearts and bright minds,’ as proudly displayed throughout its website and media. The kid-friendly affirmations in all of their productions are a healthy addition to any home, daycare, school, children’s groups and organizations and more.
