National Flood Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Ken Winer as Vice President of Agency Channel. Executable by both the agency and National Flood Services, these offerings are designed for profitable, mutual growth.

Ken has over 20 years of expertise in sales and IT positions including Vice President and Chief Information Officer, where he launched, built, and nurtured new products and services, with a focus on building advantageous client relationships. With a background in both large enterprises -- such as ADP, Quest Software/Dell -- and in smaller entrepreneurial businesses, Ken brings a broad range of knowledge. For the last eight years at SeaPass Solutions, he targeted innovative ways for insurance carriers, agents, managing general agencies (MGAs), and wholesalers to grow their businesses. During the last four years, he launched and built a multimillion dollar software as a service (SaaS) comparative quoting business. Ken brings a wealth of technology and practical experience related to making it easier for agents to do business.

“Agents are very important to us and the many insurance carrier clients we work with. Our insurance carrier clients participating in the Write Your Own (WYO) program under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) are a critical link between the NFIP and this essential flood insurance coverage offering. Policyholders rely on their insurance agents to help them with an array of options to keep them protected,” says National Flood Services President and CEO, Steve Harty. “With Ken Winer at the helm of the agency channel, we are able to further commit and invest in this all-important venue for National Flood Services, our WYO clients, and their policyholders.”

Ken is responsible for being the agency channel advocate within National Flood Services. He collaborates with agencies to develop new programs, products, and services, while working with various National Flood Services teams to implement these initiatives. Building key relationships with industry peers and flood insurance organizations is another objective to help expand the agency network and partnerships.
