Waltham, MA (PRWEB) January 29, 2013
Telerik, an end-to-end provider of software development, lifecycle and content management tools and solutions, today announced that it has closed out 2012 as its best year yet. With the hiring of more than 200 employees, two acquisitions, 27 consecutive quarters of revenue growth and customer deals with some of the largest global brands, Telerik has become the reliable partner for companies looking for innovation, consistency and stability.
In the last year, Telerik has expanded exponentially, growing its employee base by more than 200 in the roles of product development, engineering, sales, marketing and more. This evolution is supported by 27 consecutive quarters of revenue growth. The company has also grown its product and services portfolio with the acquisitions of Fiddler in September, further expanding its Austin operations, and NimblePros, the leading service provider of custom software solutions and training, in April, to better serve demands of Telerik’s enterprise customers.
“We’re on a strong growth trajectory with a very clear roadmap for our future. The acquisitions of NimblePros and Fiddler, along with their very talented founders were a synergistic match to the roadmap we laid out. Moreover, their integration into the Telerik family has been seamless, further demonstrating that we made the right decisions,” said Svetozar Georgiev, co-founder and co-CEO.
The fiscal success of Telerik is attributed to several factors, but most important is that of its expansive customer base. With more than 100,000 customers across 94 countries, Telerik is a true a global entity. Customers including Paylocity, Tyler Technologies and Kimberly Clark are standardizing on Telerik’s award-winning tools, while Nokia included Telerik tools in its offering for Nokia mobile developers.
In October, the company ventured into the cloud and launched a new offering – Icenium, the industry’s first Integrated Cloud Environment (ICE), combining the power and flexibility of the cloud with the convenience of a local development environment. Icenium simplifies cross-platform mobile development by eliminating the need for locally installed SDKs and enables developers to easily write code using existing skills in HTML/JS/CSS. With Icenium, developers are free to code on Mac OS X or Windows and target iOS and Android devices easily and efficiently. Since its initial launch, more than 10,000 developers have downloaded the product for use in the development of hybrid mobile apps.
Awards and Accolades
Because of the success Telerik has achieved within its product portfolio and its corporate growth, the company has received multiple industry recognitions including:
“When we founded Telerik 10 years ago, we never expected the market to embrace us and our technology the way it has,” noted Georgiev. “As we enter into 2013 we plan to not only stay innovative, expanding on our award-winning tools and CMS, but we will continue to give back to the communities in which we live. We are very excited for what lies ahead and want to thank all of those people who have supported us during the last 10 years.”
