Music Choice & XFINITY TV “Amp Your Campus” Social Media Challenge Top Ten Finalists Announced

Grand Prize Receives Private Concert Featuring Hot Chelle Rae & Sammy Adams

Music Choice, the multi-platform video and music network, and Comcast Cable, a global media and technology company, have announced the top ten college town finalists in its “Amp Your Campus” social media challenge. They are:

·        Boston University
·        Colorado State University
·        Florida State University
·        Illinois State University
·        Oregon State University
·        San Francisco State University
·        University of Maryland-College Park
·        University of Massachusetts Amherst
·        University of Oregon
·        University of Vermont

Of these top ten, the town that garners the most points by Mar. 22nd will be selected as the winning town. Students who cast a vote for the winning town will be entered into a random drawing to receive a chance to win a ticket to an event featuring RCA Recording artists Hot Chelle Rae and Sammy Adams which will take place in May 2013.

The Amp Your Campus social media challenge kicked off on Feb. 28th, and encouraged college students from eligible communities to vote for their town to be entered for a chance to win a ticket to the big show at Xfinity4College Facebook. To vote, students must be 18 years of age or older, reside in an eligible college community, be enrolled as a full or part-time student at an accredited two or four-year public or private university as of February 25, 2013 and be a member of Facebook.
