Bridgewater, NJ (PRWEB) May 2, 2009
Financial Pathways, LLC of Bridgewater, New Jersey, announced today the addition of Luba Globerman to the firm as a Certified Financial Planner™.
James Kinney, founder and owner of the financial planning services firm, explains that the addition of Ms. Globerman was partly motivated by the firm's recent success in attracting new clients. "Client service is of the utmost importance to me," reports Mr. Kinney. "My clients are like family, and I am very sensitive as I add new clients, that the quality of the service I provide them does not diminish in any way. Luba can help me to continue providing the service my clients are accustomed to receiving, even as we continue to grow."
Ms. Globerman earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from New York University and became a Certified Financial Planner in 1994. She also holds a degree in civil and industrial engineering from Moldova, Russia (1977), and has worked as a systems programmer in the financial industry. She also founded and helped to manage a thriving family business. And of course, as a CFP® Ms. Globerman has experience and knowledge in retirement planning, small business planning, investment strategies, estate planning, and college planning and financial aid. "I believe experience outside the world of finance is important for a financial planning professional," Mr. Kinney explains. "Luba and I both share similar experience as entrepreneurs, having built and managed our own successful non-financial businesses earlier in life, and I think in many ways that experience helps us connect with clients in a way that career financial people simply cannot replicate."
Financial Pathways clients will also benefit from Ms. Globerman's experience and licensing in the insurance field. "Insurance protection is an important part of many financial plans we write for clients," explains Mr. Kinney, "but many of my clients have told me that they feel uncomfortable shopping for insurance on their own. Some report that they just don't know who to trust. Now I can refer clients to Luba, who I know will follow the instructions in the plan precisely. My clients can now buy the life, health, disability, or long term care insurance they may need from someone we both know they can trust."
For her part, Ms. Globerman expresses enthusiasm for the new partnership. "I was seeking a firm which shared my values, most importantly a solid commitment to ethical practices and doing the right thing for clients," explains Ms. Globerman. "So many firms in the financial industry seem to be concerned only with enriching themselves. I believe that if someone is going to offer advice to clients, then that advice should be driven based on the client's need, not just what is best for the firm's bottom line. Jim and I share that commitment and philosophy of business, and that is important to me."
