More than 400 teams will participate in the USA Junior Olympic Boys Volleyball Championships at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta July 1-8, and all of them will be playing on Sport Court® surfaces provided by Connor Sport Court International.

Sport Court has had a 20 year relationship as the official playing surface for USA Volleyball. Thirty four courts of Sport Court "Response"™ totaling about 120,000 square feet, will be the scene of all the action during the eight day event.

Ron Cerny, President and CEO of Connor Sport Court International, the Utah-based manufacturer of Sport Court, said "Both Sport Court and USA Volleyball have grown as the result of our strong relationship. Back in the 'ole days' volleyball tournaments this big would have to be held in many venues."

With the Response modular playing surfaces, many volleyball courts can be placed under one roof and numerous games can be played at one time.

Since the relationship was established between USA Volleyball and Sport Court fewer and fewer volleyball games are being played on marked-over basketball courts or on concrete surfaces.

Sport Court's Response playing surface is a state-of-the-art engineered polymer surface, which has specially-designed Lateral Forgiveness™ for player safety while at the same time providing the resiliency needed in this fast-moving sport. Connor Sport Court engineers have constantly developed and improved the Response court system to make it the official choice for volleyball organizations the world over.
