Gigya, Inc., the leading technology for connecting content and consumers with the social web, today announced it is speaking at three major conferences in September 2009. On the heels of a host of successful implementations of Gigya's social technologies including Turner Sports for recent NBA, PGA and NASCAR events, and CBS for Electronic Arts' Madden 2010 interactive ad campaign, Gigya executives will be at IAB MIXX, OMMA Global, and Shop.org's Annual conference in Las Vegas to talk about how social technologies are helping both publishers and advertisers improve performance. From topics on social media best practices for major brand advertisers, to social innovation in video, to how retailers are leveraging distributed apps to increase their sales reach, Gigya executives are excited to contribute to some of the most important and influential interactive media events of the year.

On September 21, 2009, in New York, David A. Yovanno, CEO, will be "Pitching to the Major Leagues," at IAB MIXX. In this session Doug Chavez, Senior Manager, Digital Marketing, for Del Monte Foods will be putting panelists through their paces, pitching a major consumer brand. Yovanno will showcase some of the latest in social media technologies while demonstrating the best way to reach major brands and close the big deal.

On September 22, 2009, in New York, Liza Hausman, VP Marketing, will participate on the panel, "Where's the Innovation in Online Video Advertising?" at OMMA Global. This panel presents the opportunity for attendees to learn more about what is new in social technologies and video media. Drawing on Gigya's experience working with major television networks including Turner and CBS, Hausman will discuss the importance of adding social elements to network broadcasts allowing members of Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter to jointly engage with each other and publisher content. Ms. Hausman will be joined by moderator Tod Sacerdoti, CEO & Founder, BrightRoll, Inc. as well as panelists, Randy Kilgore, CRO, Tremor Media, Brian Fitzgerald, President & Co-founder, Gorilla Nation, and Chris Young, CEO, Digital Broadcasting Group.

After presenting at IAB MIXX David A. Yovanno will head to Las Vegas for Shop.org's Annual Summit on September 23, 2009. Yovanno will be leading the panel, "Retail Widgets and Apps: A Guidebook for Success," as moderator. Social media represents both opportunities and unique challenges for online retailers. What are the best ways to use social media in a retail context? Yovanno will be asking panelists, Albert DiPadova, Vice President, Due Maternity; Alex Miller, Director of Programming, QVC, Inc.; and Jonathan Schaaf, Associate Media Director, Razorfish Chicago how they are using portable social applications, among other tools, to make online shopping a social experience. The panel will also address the best ways to distribute brand content and different ways to share retail experiences across the Internet.

"This summer--beginning in June with Turner Network's Gigya Socialize launch--we have experienced tremendous momentum around our social media technologies. These industry events represent a great opportunity for us to give back to the interactive community by showcasing our experiences," said CEO David A. Yovanno. "The success of Gigya Socialize sends a clear message that publishers play a critical role in how the entire web truly becomes 'social'. We are all looking forward to a very exciting month."
