BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA (PRWEB) November 26, 2012
Los Angeles Colon and Rectal Surgical Associates (LACRSA) is proud to announce that it has recently welcomed a new surgeon to its growing group of colorectal surgeons in Hollywood and the greater Los Angeles area. Allen Kamrava, M.D. is the sixth doctor to join the team in recent years. He brings with him a respected educational background as well as years of research and training. When asked why LACRSA has added another colorectal surgeon in such a short time, Dr. Gary Hoffman, the group’s senior associate stated, “Our practice is growing faster than we can keep up with it. To continue to meet the high expectations of our patients and to ensure that we can continue to offer our usual high quality of patient care, we decided that it was necessary to have Dr. Kamrava join our team.” Dr. Kamrava has already started to see patients and is also helping keep the patient wait time to a minimum.
A Closer Look at Doctor Kamrava
Allen Kamrava M.D. is a graduate of the University of California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience. His studies continued in Philadelphia where he obtained dual degrees in both Medicine and Business Administration at the Temple University School of Medicine and The Fox School of Business, respectively.
Doctor Kamrava completed his general surgical residency at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Los Angeles. He then completed his Colon and Rectal Surgical fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania under the tutelage of Robert Fry M.D. Dr. Kamrava’s strong educational background and numerous certifications make him a perfect fit with the other proctologists of the Los Angeles.
When asked about the new association, Dr. Kamrava stated, “What I find most striking about our practice is the relationship of the physicians and patients, something reminiscent of days past, before managed care and ICD-9 coding of diseases. My new associates are true experts in our field, and my training over the last decade has provided the proper foundation to augment their patient care and practice. I look forward to expanding our practice with the same level of quality care that has come to define our group. Our patients will continue to benefit from high quality medical care during this time of transition in our national health care delivery systems.”
Dr. Kamrava constantly advanced his skills in complex surgical endoscopic procedures (gastroscopy and colonoscopy) and simultaneously developed surgical methods to better serve patients who are suffering from colon and rectal illnesses such as hemorrhoids, IBD, IBS, anal fissures, complex anal fistulas and colon cancer. Dr. Kamrava received certification in advanced laparoscopic and robotic techniques for surgery – a goal that only a few colorectal surgeons have accomplished. Specializing in both colorectal surgery and in business administration, Dr. Kamrava uses a targeted approach to improve the support and care for all patients while improving office and outpatient efficiency. His ever-improving solutions to patient care are a great addition to the team of physicians and support staff at Los Angeles Colon and Rectal Surgical Associates.
Dr. Kamrava is board certified.
