Items on display in the Liberty AV booth (#2318) at this year’s CEDIA Expo will include the Colorado Springs, Colorado-based company’s PowerBridge in-wall power outlet relocation and cable conceal kit.

Effective, time-saving, and affordable, the PowerBridge system is designed to manage AV power in/out requirements and provide discreet cable management. Utilizing one-inch recessed wall plates on both ends of the power in/out chain to facilitate close-mounting of flat-panel TVs and other components, a PowerBridge network plugs into existing power outlets or surge protectors to eliminate the need for direct wiring to a dedicated electrical circuit. Neatly concealing all wires and cables out-of-sight behind the wall, the system also includes pass-through cable management receptacles with built-in mud rings.

In-wall power junction boxes further complement the package that install in standard 2x4 or 2x6 construction walls. Employing a PVC 19cu design made expressly for use with PowerBridge recessed wall plates, the junction boxes isolate power wires from AV cables and come complete with an easy-to-use installation template. A six-foot power cord is additionally included with each kit that plugs into an existing power outlet on one end, and PowerBridge’s power-in receptacle on the other. Power-in receptacles can be installed up to 75 feet away from a power-out receptacle with the use of additional power connect cabling.

ETL listed and conforming to UL STD 514C, the PowerBridge system is also certified to Canadian CSA STD C22.2 NO.42.1.
