Portland, OR (PRWEB) October 9, 2007
The newly designed http://www.LifeFlight.org website will serve as the go-to resource for information regarding Membership, Activation, Life Flight Network News, Community Outreach programs and more. Those interested in finding out more about the latest in helicopter and fixed-wing medical transport in Southwest Washington, the Portland metro area and beyond will find a host of features including who can activate a mobile intensive care helicopter or fixed-wing aircraft, online Life Flight Network Membership sign-up and where to purchase Life Flight Network merchandise. Additional features will continue to be added in an effort to best-serve our customers with the latest in medical transport technology and web-based information resources.
The website development began in the summer of 2007 as part of Life Flight Network's initiative to reinforce their presence in the medical transport community and place a strong focus on customer service. The resulting site at http://www.LifeFlight.org dramatically enhances Life Flight Network's online capabilities and leverages the latest in internet-based technology.
Mike Griffiths, Executive Director for Life Flight Network, states, "This new website will expand our communication capabilities and streamline many aspects of our operation. Life Flight Network has operated a non-profit air ambulance service out of the Portland area for 30 years and our hope is to be here for another 30 years, delivering the same high quality patient care we have become known for. We appreciate all of the customers who have supported Life Flight Network over these past decades and have built 'connections' to many of them through our website".
Developed by Bend-based Breakaway Consulting, a technology consulting firm, http://www.LifeFlight.org represents a perfect example of taking a unique set of business requirements and working closely with the Life Flight Network staff to translate, streamline and integrate those in a highly-functional, web-based application.
