Camp Canaan is home to many exciting outdoor adventures. There are lodges and retreat opportunities, kayaking, fishing, hiking, game fields and now the Canaan Zipline Canopy Tour; it’s newest high-flying adventure.
The new Zipline Tour offers a 2 1/2 to 3 hour exhilarating experience for thrill seekers and tourists alike. It is a unique opportunity to zip through the trees on a network of cables and skybridges suspended high above the forest floor, criss-crossing the beautiful Catawba River. The tour is perfect for a family trip, business outing, team building or just plain having fun.
"Our new Zipline tour has been planned and constructed to be challenging and lots of fun, said Nick Wimmer, Executive Director, Camp Canaan. The river adds a special element that is not generally available on a Carolina Zipline, he continued.
