Memory Vessels is proud to support the endless generosity of the ALS Association Rocky Mountain Chapter by donating a Memory Vessel keepsake to their Annual Sunset at the Ritz Fundraising Gala on Saturday, May 4th, 2013. The organization provides support to ALS victims as well as tremendous support to the families of ALS victims.
The black tie event is their annual auction to raise the funds necessary to provide the best assistance to those who have been impacted by ALS. The Sunset dinner gala at the Ritz-Carlton in downtown Denver is night of true sophistication, beginning with a cocktail reception, a silent and live auction, dinner, and lively entertainment all to raise money and the support to continue the fight against Lou Gehrig’s disease.
According to the ALS Association, ALS, also known as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease,” is a progressive neurodegenerative disease, which affects the process in which motor neurons are received by the brain to the spinal cord and throughout the rest of the body. Without the ability to pass the neural impulses throughout the body, the motor neurons die, resulting in a loss of control over body movement.
Since there is currently no cure or treatment to correct this disease, it’s increasingly important for those to come out and extend their support and help raise money for the ASL Association as they move forward into the future.
Toni Noel, owner of Memory Vessels, was inspired to create Memory Vessels when her Mother died of ALS. “I wanted a portable, attractive piece to keep some of Mum’s hair and remains with me, along with the video tribute and other photos I treasure. Nothing like it existed, so I developed and created Memory Vessels to fill my need, which is shared by so many others," said Noel.
Memory Vessels provide two chambers for keeping a small amount of physical mementos like cremated remains, hair, crushed flowers, etc. Inside the keepsake, digitally recorded memories can be stored in the 2 GB USB flashdrive. The unique storage device is perfect for keeping photos and videos of loved ones safe and in one place close to the wearer’s heart.
Support is extremely important and very much appreciated. Please join us on May 4th at the Ritz-Carlton, Denver or send your tax deductible contribution to ALS Association Rocky Mountain Chapter.
