Austin, TX (PRWEB) January 18, 2013

Absolute Rights is proud to announce Dr. Jonathan David Farley, writer and principal of the Warren Group, as their newest contributing writer. The mathematician is known as one of 15 people who have shaped the global conversation about science, and helped the Warren Group in its advisory role during the 2010 South Carolina Senate race. He’s been on BBC Radio, National Public Radio, and a number of other reputable news outlets.

Tim Young, Managing Editor at Absolute Rights, is thrilled to have Dr. Farley contribute to the news and opinion site. “We are honored to have Dr. Jonathan David Farley as a contributor on AbsoluteRights.com and look forward to sharing his insights with our readers,” Young said.

Dr. Farley’s first article can be viewed on the AbsoluteRights.com homepage, and it covers the complex issue of African Americans and gun rights. “The National Rifle Association should try to win over black support by officially condemning the 1967 Mulford Act, the shameful law of the California Assembly banning the public display of loaded firearms,” states Dr. Farley in the article.

Titled “What Would Django Do?” the article includes a unique perspective, one from the man who organized a commemoration of the thirtieth anniversary of a protest against the Mulford Act.

“Racism in America is now gone like an exorcised ghost, but African-Americans would do well to remember our history when it comes to gun control. Instead of turning schools into zero-tolerance zones for guns, we should let the NRA teach special classes in gun use, sort of like Drivers’ Ed, and there should be ROTC in all schools,” Dr. Farley wrote.

Information like this is found daily on AbsoluteRights.com, where Young and his growing team of expert contributors add content to the biggest conversations in arenas from global politics to self-reliance, and everything in between.
