Absolute Rights and Managing Editor Tim Young have issued the latest semiweekly Newsletter and sent it to dedicated readers nationwide and beyond. Articles cover various political and global issues.
The first article comes from the mind behind TheBlackSphere.net, Kevin Jackson. He shares his views on the gay rights issues filling the American political conversation.
“Other than pop culture curiosity, I don’t think most conservatives care about Obama’s sexual past, present, or future. But we do care when the gay agenda supersedes the American agenda. I believe that a president’s singular agendum should be the betterment of the entire nation, not various segments,” wrote Jackson in the article.
“You would think that we would have learned something by now about how to deal with people, and not attempt to legislate thought,” continued Jackson. “Despite what people may believe, Civil Rights laws are not the reason Obama is president.”
The following Newsletter article was written by Young, and covers the latest news out of the gun rights debate. After a snafu by a Congresswoman, Young believes the knowledge of our authoritative powers lacks specifics.
“In case you thought for a second that the representatives in Washington, D.C. who were taking stands against your guns rights knew what they were doing, think again,” wrote Young. Diana DeGette (D-Colorado) believes magazines can’t be reloaded, proving the ignorance of those in charge.
“Now one can't expect each of our representatives in Congress to be an expert on everything,” Young wrote, “but you would at least think that when there is legislation around that could significantly change our liberties and freedoms that those who oppose them would at least understand what they were opposing.”
The next article comes from Survival Life Managing Editor ‘Above Average’ Joe, who contributed his article on the ammunition shortage facing American firearm dealers. Joe said that “There is even less ammunition on the shelf, in fact it seems that the only thing left in good supply are the 12 gauge shotgun shells. The scary part is, it isn’t just private citizens that are having trouble.”
The article shares an excerpt from a March FOX News story that reports law enforcement departments who are struggling to find ammunition as well.
The last article in the Newsletter was also contributed by Young, and features news on a video that should get the attention of the Western world.
“A video surfaced the other day from the Syrian battlefield where Syrian rebel forces are shown using the British-made AS-50,” wrote Young. “This is a problem. The AS-50 is the world's most powerful gun, only used by Western forces like the British military and our own Navy SEALs.”
Young asked the all-important question: Where did they get the guns?
“The US State Department has stated publicly that they have given over $385 million worth of support to the rebels, but to this day, we have had no confirmations of AS-50s being handed out as a part of this giveaway,” Young wrote.
