Port Ludlow Resort located on Washington's Pristine Olympic Peninsula has its eye on the future with becoming Certified Aging in Place Specialists.

A close community with endless options for socializing, outdoor activities, and has regularly been voted among the top ten “best neighborhoods” in the U.S.

The Resort at Port Ludlow takes its "Come for the day, stay for the lifestyle" slogan seriously and so does its premier builder, West Harbor Homes. As the Resort has been planning out the growth of its villages, West Harbor Homes Construction Manager, Brent Sasse has been busy becoming a Certified Aging in Place Specialist. Brent brings a special eye to the construction and development of homes in Port Ludlow as his training will help him to create homes that will allow its inhabitants to age within their own homes.

Port Ludlow, itself is a close community with endless options for socializing, outdoor activities, and has regularly been voted among the top ten “best neighborhoods” in the U.S. so it only makes sense that its residents would not want to leave just because they age.

The Center for Disease Control defines aging in place as "the ability to live in one's own home and community safely, independently, and comfortably, regardless of age, income, or ability level." In order to help its residents keep their lifestyle as they age, Brent Sasse and West Harbor Homes, will work to create houses that will allow just that to happen.
