The Illinois Attorney General's Office will be making a presentation about its Silver Beat program at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Heritage Woods of Benton, a BMA affordable assisted living community in Franklin County, Illinois.
The Silver Beat program is designed to inform seniors about financial scams and healthcare fraud and provide tips for how older adults can protect themselves and others.
Located at 1305 Baily Lane in Benton, Illinois, the Heritage Woods community serves seniors of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some assistance to maintain their independence.

The community is fully certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program and is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.
