The community, which is located at 12450 Regency Parkway in Huntley, Illinois, serves adults 55 and older who may need some assistance to maintain their independence.

'We invite you to join us for lunch and a tour between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and enjoy Music Music by Babette from 1 to 2 p.m.," says Susan Schaefer, Administrator of Heritage Woods of Huntley.

"Last year, we were honored to be one of the few assisted living communities in the State of Illinois to be awarded a two-year license from the Illinois Department of Public Health after receiving a perfect score on our survey," says Schaefer.

"We provide a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home," she adds. "Residents benefit from living in a residential apartment-home environment and receiving personal assistance and help with medications."

Private studio and one-bedroom apartments are available, each with a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, and emergency alert system.

Certified nursing assistants and personal care aides are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All three meals each day, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.

Residents also benefit from all of the opportunities that are available to socialize with friends and neighbors and participate in social activities and special events," says Schaefer.

The community is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.

"Our focus is on providing residents with the love, compassion and dignity that they deserve and the help and assistance that they need to achieve and maintain as much independence as possible for as long as possible," says Rod Burkett, President and CEO of BMA.

Based in Bradley, Illinois, BMA Management operates 36 senior living communities, housing nearly 3,400 homes and apartments.

Communities managed by BMA include the Heritage Woods affordable assisted living communities in Batavia, Belvidere, Bolingbrook, Chicago, DeKalb, Gurnee, McHenry and Rockford, Illinois.

BMA also manages Heritage Woods of South Elgin, which features affordable assisted living and memory care.
