Au Pair Care, an au pair agency that matches American families with international au pairs, today announced that Bonny Wolter, a new area director in Madison, Wisconsin has joined the team. Bonny is responsible for matching international au pairs with local host families in Madison, Wisconsin, as well as providing ongoing support to the matched families and au pairs.
“I’m very pleased and excited to join the Au Pair Care team in Madison,” said Bonny Wolter, area director, Au Pair Care. “I look forward to connecting with local families and au pairs, and being an international child care resource in the community.”
Au Pair Care area directors provide education and support to host families and au pairs, create monthly events, conduct in-home interviews with host families, and provide arrival orientation to new au pairs.
A graduate of the University of Madison, Bonny was born and raised in Madison. She is a current member of Madison’s Race for the Cure committee. Bonny has been a nanny for several Madison families, and understands the challenges involved with finding affordable and reliable child care in the area.
“Our dedicated area directors are the local bridge that connects our host families with their ideal au pair,” said Heidi Woehl, vice president, Au Pair Care. “Bonny’s experience as a former child care provider makes her a wonderful addition to our organization, and we are delighted to have her join the Au Pair Care family.”
An au pair is a young adult from another country who lives with a family and provides in-home child care services in exchange for room and board and a weekly stipend. Au pairs work up to 45 hours per week, offering a flexible schedule that can accommodate an individual family’s needs.
Au Pair Care’s standard au pair program offers American families one year of live-in child care. Au Pair Care also offers an infant specialized program and an extension program for families who wish to continue the program past the initial 12 months. The cost of an au pair from Au Pair Care is approximately $350 per week, regardless of the number of children in the family. Au Pair Care’s au pairs are between 18 and 26 years old, have extensive child care experience, speak conversational English, and come from more than 40 different countries.
