GOVTek Awards winners will be announced Sunday, June 2 at the GOVTek Awards Gala in Cambridge, MD.

AvePoint was nominated as an industry solution provider in the categories of Best Collaboration Solution, Best Security Solution, Excellence in Government Service, and Excellence in Industry/Government Collaboration. Each nomination resulted from a customer success story:

  •     Best Collaboration Solution: AvePoint helped a key Seattle trade agency ensure optimal collaboration across the entire organization by ensuring end users always have access to the most up-to-date information needed to perform their duties.
  •     Best Security Solution: AvePoint enabled a New Zealand public sector organization to protect its valuable data with full system, granular, and incremental backups, as well as swift restoration of lost or deleted content.
  •     Excellence in Government Service: With AvePoint, a local government in Illinois was able to migrate approximately one gigabyte of data with full fidelity, allowing it to remain compliant with the court system. The migration was completed in one business day, four days sooner than expected.
  •     Excellence in Industry/Government Collaboration: A public sector technology services company was able to save $25,000 and reduce data on its content database by 88 percent.

Award winners will be chosen by an evaluation from GTRA Council Members in conjunction with a public vote from the community. Votes can be cast at the GTRA voting website.
