With 2012 being one of the biggest years in history for barbecue sales (thanks to the Olympics, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the Royal Wedding), it’s safe to say that 2013 is going to require a lot of work in order to get close to the sales of 2012. However, the staff at BBQBarbecues appear to be quite optimistic about the forthcoming barbecue season...
Paul Dickinson who managed the products throughout 2012 commented: “The year really bode well for us with the assortment of national events that just happened to fall within the summer months. But it’s important to realise early on that 2013 will be a completely different year, we’ll have to rely on the weather more heavily this year to entice buyers to part with their money.”
Sadly for BBQBarbecues, the UK weather is a bit... unpredictable. This causes many a problem, as not only does it place doubt in the mind of potential BBQ buyers, but it also hinders sales on barbecuing equipment and accessories. For those who plan to get grilling no matter what the weather has in store for us; check this out – it might compliment the barby perfectly.
However, although 2013 might look to be a bit of an uphill struggle, the folks at BBQBarbecues are definitely starting the year off in the right way. “We’ve already added a variety of Landmann barbecue products to the site and this is just the first instalment of many to come over the next couple of months” explains James Cook, from the Marketing department.
He continued on to say; “Going by our analytics data, we can see that a good percentage of visitors to the site automatically head to the Landmann branded section. Therefore it’s a pretty safe bet that the brand holds a significant weight on purchases which aren’t considered ‘budget buys’; as such, we’re going to ramp up our organic marketing channels for this brand whilst expanding it to give shoppers a bigger selection!”
With many additions to come over the next few months and a solid marketing strategy being implemented, it looks as if 2013 could well be a good year for the folks at BBQBarbecues.co.uk.
Before heading off, here’s a quick link to some of the latest Landmann equipment on the site, but make sure to check out the entire website as there’s some goodies lurking around in the winter sale!
