Nashville rocker BREE has been selected as the 2012 RAW Nashville Musician Of The Year, winning both the judges' and popular vote, after a live performance in front of a capacity audience November 15th at the 4th Annual Nashville RAWards Indie Awards show at the Mercy Lounge.

The 23-year-old singer-songwriter-guitarist performed four orginal songs - Dance All Nite (With My Finger In The Air), I'm The Boss, Nothin' But Trouble and Heart & Soul - accompanied by her stand-up bassist and drummer. Besides performing at various Nashville venues, BREE has been recording tracks with legendary producer Bob Ezrin's exclusive engineer Justin Cortelyou. BREE's musical influences range from Buddy Holly and Wanda Jackson to The Who and Green Day.

"In the studio and live it's just the three of us," said BREE. "Keeps it honest. Keeps it real."

Throughout the year, RAW Directors hand-pick and spotlight local artists in music, film, fashion, visual art, hair & makeup, and performance art to come together once a month in 54 U.S. cities and Australia. The top talent in each category is selected in November. RAW will launch in China and Europe in 2013.
