Fortunately prices have remained low at BathroomWorld, meaning that customers are still ready to take advantage of quality bathroom products while not having to empty their pockets. The high street may be taking a battering lately, but it’s clear that online shopping is still an area that people are willing to spend money due to low prices and the convenience of having ordered products delivered straight to your door.
The E-commerce Manager, Scott Morris of BathroomWorld remained confident that sales will remain high for the foreseeable future; “Obviously a lot of UK based companies are going to be worried about this news, especially the worry that customers will quit buying what can be seen as ‘luxury goods’. However, we believe our range of prices are cheap enough that people who are wondering whether they should hold off on buying that new bath won’t be put off buying one during the current economic climate. We realise that people are trying to be frugal, but our commitment to quality products that don’t break the bank is putting savings right back into the hands of the UK public and hopefully helping strengthen the economy.”
Scott carried on to explain how customers remained attracted to the site “We spend a great deal of time making our range of websites attractive to the customer while also remaining usable even to those that don’t know the first thing about computers. Aside from the draw of a low price we spend time crafting quality images for the site, as well as all the detailed information anyone would ever need about a particular product. We know people can be wary about buying things for the home on the Internet, but if we present them with all the information so they know exactly how, say, the tap they want is going to work then they’ll feel far safer about clicking the ‘buy’ button. I wouldn’t buy a bath that only had the name and a poor picture, I’d want to know the exact sizes so I know I’ll be able to fit it through my bathroom door!”
BathroomWorld even offers a free delivery option, saving the customer even more money as delivery costs for large products can sometimes be quite high. Customers can also check the BathroomWorld blog, Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with new products and the latest prices.
