Grand Rapids, MI (PRWEB) March 28, 2013
Baudville, the leading provider of day-to-day recognition and award solutions for schools and the workplace, is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of the 2013 West Michigan’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For.
“We are thrilled to receive this honor,” said Brad Darooge, President and CEO. “We could not have achieved this award without the efforts of our amazing staff. We believe we have some of the best talent in West Michigan, and we thank them for this accomplishment.”
As an employee recognition company, Baudville will enjoy celebrating the award with a week of casual days and catered lunch for all employees courtesy of food truck What the Truck. Both are extremely popular with the Baudville staff. “We win this award as a team, and we celebrate as a team,” said Darooge.
Only companies with the highest quality human resources initiatives receive the award from the Michigan Business and Professional Association (MBPA), and the honor is highly sought after by competing companies throughout the region.
“Profitability and stability are essential for businesses in today’s economic climate. Companies that recognize that their employees are the key to their success, achieve staying power. Our 2013 winners style their business standards to ensure employee satisfaction, and they set standards for every business to aspire toward,” said Jennifer Kluge, MBPA president. “We are very impressed by the commitment that they have demonstrated to their employees.”
An independent research firm evaluates each company’s entry based on key measurements in various categories. They include Compensation, Benefits and Employee Solutions; Employee Enrichment, Engagement and Retention; Employee Education and Development; Recruitment, Selection and Orientation; Employee Achievement and Recognition; Communication and Shared Vision; Diversity and Inclusion; Work-Life Balance; Community Initiatives; Strategic Company Performance and the Best of the Best Small Business.
The winning 101 companies also vie for 10 elite awards, one granted for each category, and an overall winner, who has excelled in all categories, will be honored with a “Best of the Best” award.
Winners will be honored at the MBPA annual human resources symposium and awards program on Thursday, May 2 at the Pinnacle Center in the Grand Rapids area. The event includes networking, an exhibit gallery, educational sessions, and awards luncheon. Tickets for the symposium and awards lunch are $110 for MBPA members; $130 for non-members. Sponsorships are also available.
