C2 Education’s fully personalized programs provide an excellent opportunity for students to remain engaged throughout the lengthy summer vacation.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 17, 2013
C2 Education, the nation’s fastest growing network of educational support centers, will celebrate the Grand Opening of a new learning center in Mission Viejo on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. Grand Opening events will include a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by members of the Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce, a live college admissions seminar, and free food and beverages.
The new learning center, located in Suite 100 of 25212 Marguerite Pkwy in Mission Viejo, will provide local residents with access to C2 Education’s full range of customized academic programs, including SAT preparation, ACT preparation, K-12 subject tutoring, and college admissions counseling. To introduce families to these services, the new C2 Education center is hosting a series of free practice SATs at the Mission Viejo location. Practice SATs are available without an appointment on Wednesdays between 3 PM and 7 PM and on Saturdays between 10 AM and 2 PM from now until the new center’s Grand Opening.
C2 Education’s Mission Viejo Grand Opening coincides perfectly with the end of the school year for local students. “Summer presents a challenge for educators and students alike,” says C2 Education co-founder and CEO David Kim. “Students often lose months of grade level equivalency during the summer months, leaving them struggling to catch up at the beginning of the school year. To prevent summer learning loss, we recommend that students keep their minds active by joining academic programs during summer vacation.”
C2 Education’s fully personalized programs provide an excellent opportunity for students to remain engaged throughout the lengthy summer vacation. Younger students often benefit from instruction in reading, writing, or math, the core areas that must be maintained during the break from school. Older students often find summer to be the perfect time to begin test prep for upcoming exams such as the PSAT, SAT, or ACT.
Local families can learn about C2 Education’s programs and offerings by attending the Grand Opening events, which will allow parents the opportunity to meet with C2 Education’s team of expert academic advisers. At 5:45 PM on June 26, parents and students are invited to attend a free college admissions seminar, “The Smarter Summer Break: Planning for College Admissions Success,” hosted by C2 Education’s South California Regional Trainer, Jesse Pizarro. All families who attend C2 Education’s Grand Opening activities will also receive a savings voucher for up to $1,000 off services at the new learning center.
