C2 Education's Cupertino center, located at 1072 South De Anza Boulevard in San Jose, has helped countless students improve their Preliminary SAT (PSAT) scores over the years. This year, C2 Education is proud to congratulate sixteen of their Cupertino students, all of whom have been recognized as finalists in the annual National Merit Scholarship competition.

The National Merit Scholarship is awarded to just 1% of the more than 1.5 million high school juniors who take the PSAT each fall. To earn finalist standing, students must not only earn top PSAT scores, but must also demonstrate academic dedication, extracurricular involvement, and future promise.

C2 Education Cupertino's sixteen National Merit Scholarship finalists come from four local high schools, including nine students from Lynbrook High School (two of whom earned a perfect PSAT score), five students from Saratoga High School, three students from the Harker School, and one student from Monta Vista High School. Each of these students has put forth spectacular effort to earn such impressive recognition.

C2 Education emphasizes the importance of PSAT preparation for those students interested in competing for the National Merit Scholarship. PSAT preparation not only helps students to earn top scores in this highly competitive arena, but also allows students to get a head start on preparation for future tests, including the SAT and the ACT.
