What Does it Really Take to Break into Highly Secured Organizations? Advanced Penetration Tester Training to Be Held in St. Louis, MO May 31-June 2, 2013

TakeDownCon, the IT Security Briefing and Training event Hosted by EC-Council and Parameter Security, will offer advanced penetration testing training taught by professional penetration tester, Joe McCray.

Albuquerque, NM (PRWEB) April 23, 2013

This three-day course provides IT Security Professionals the training they need to perform advanced pen testing of applications, services, and network systems and then patch and harden them via both Network- and Host-based Intrusion Detection/Preventions systems (IDS/IPS). “The learning curve for this program is extremely steep, but the rewards are astronomical when students are presented with the opportunity of learning what it really takes to hack into some of the most secure networks and applications in the world,” said Joseph McCray regarding the difficulty of this course.

The Advanced Penetration Tester class is not for beginners - it is intended for information security professionals, penetration testers, IT managers, IT auditors, and government and intelligence agencies interested in real world attack and defense. It is strongly recommended that attendees be certified in industry certification such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Certified Security Analyst (ECSA) or have IT-related experience before attending the class.

Eighty percent of the Advanced Penetration Testing course is hands-on hacking labs, so students who complete this course will gain the skills to maneuver around networks without being detected by IDS/IPS, mitigate common security implementations, penetrate desktops, GPOs, IDSs/IPSs/WAFSs; and pentest high-security environments such as government agencies, financial institutions, and other key organizations.
