Callis Communications today commemorates 14 years of innovation, leadership and award-winning outstanding service in the communications industry. Originally named Allpage, the Company was founded by CEO Dean Parker and first opened for business on June 1, 1999 as a messaging technology and paging communications provider. In its 14-year history, the Company has led significant growth and has become the market leader in the Southeast U.S. for cloud-based Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) solutions.

From Callis’ inception, the Company has continually driven innovation in the communications industry and successfully transformed the way organizations communicate. In 2005, Callis was the first communications company in the Southeast to build and deploy a next generation IP network for all communications as the Company pivoted to a facilities-based Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) and ISP provider, delivering hosted PBX and IP based solutions to small and medium size enterprises. During this transition, the Company’s name was changed from Allpage to Callis Communications, derived from the Latin word “pathway” to reflect it’s new direction.
