After the huge success of the UK Search Awards and the 2012 European Search Awards, Dont Panic Projects, together with SEMPO and Manual Link Building, is again celebrating the top talent in digital marketing, PPC and SEO from around Europe with the 2013 European Search Awards ceremony.

What's more, some of the most recognised names in the European search industry will be on the judging panel. State of Search is the media partner for the awards and Majestic SEO has agreed to be the awards' Twitter Wall sponsor.

Last year's awards took place in the St Olof Chapel in the NH Barbizon Palace in Amsterdam. This year's European Search Awards will take place on Thursday 20 June at the luxurious Hotel Arts in Barcelona. They are now open for entries.

Here is a schedule for this year's awards:
February – 2012 European Search Awards launch, call for entries
Friday 19 April – Entries closed
Early May – Judging
Early May – Announcement of shortlist
Thursday 20 June – Awards ceremony

Alongside last year's 17 categories for campaigns, use of search and software, this year's ceremony includes four new categories.

http://www.dontpanicprojects.com, an events agency, also launched the UK Social Media Communications Awards back in 2010 (formerly better known as the somecomms awards).

The UK Social Media Communications Awards are now in their fourth year and will once again recognise impressive advances in social media, a fast-growing industry that has become vitally important for anyone who works in advertising or marketing.

CIPR and PRCA will be supporting the awards again and this year the awards will also be launched in association with media partner PRmoment.

The 2013 UK Social Media Communications Awards will be held at The Emirates Stadium in London on Thursday, 24 October, 2013. Entries are now open.
