Chicago, IL (PRWEB) October 12, 2012
The final countdown has begun and the global population will face a range of cataclysmic and transformative events on December 21, 2012… The Mayans said so. But have no fear, there’s a party brewing at what is believed to be the safest hideout in Chicago – the House of Blues at 329 North Dearborn Street. Led by zombies, aliens and other apocalyptic creatures deep inside the concrete walls, this party is packed with “do before you die” delights that will have people going out on top while singing with Hollywood rock sensation Steel Panther at Earth’s Last Stand! http://www.EarthsLastStand.com
Once the doors are sealed, those who are at this bash of a lifetime will enjoy the opportunity to take one last risk with any of these experiences taking place throughout the bunker-like House of Blues:
NEVER TOO LATE TATTOO ROOM
Ever wanted a tattoo? Well, time’s up, literally! People can sit down and get inked from some of Chicago’s finest tattoo artists for no charge.
PROOF OF LIFE PHOTO BOOTH
Whoever takes our place on earth; people want to prove to them they had a hand in its destruction. Step inside the photo booth and say cheese!
BUNKER BARBER SHOP
Get a new “hairdo before you die” or just shave it all off! People sure can’t take hair with them when the Grimm Reaper comes, so barbers will be ready to give people a “do” to die for!
AFTERLIFE INTERVIEW ROOM
Tarot card readers, fortune tellers and palm readers will be standing by to tell people where they're headed when the clock strikes midnight.
TIME CAPSULE VIDEO CONFESSION BOOTH
Can’t take secrets to the grave? People will fess up on camera and share them with the world (what’s left of it) via a live online video stream.
THE FINAL COUNTDOWN
Just ten days before New Year’s Eve to be, Earth’s Last Stand partiers will join each other by following along a digital display reading the final countdown to midnight.

About Steel Panther (http://www.steelpantherrocks.com):
STEEL PANTHER was, for a long time, rock’s best-kept secret: a cult legend on the LA scene. But in recent years the band has enjoyed huge acclaim from fans and peers alike. At sell-out club shows in Hollywood, Steel Panther has been joined on stage by rock and roll icons such as Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Paul Stanley of KISS, Corey Taylor of Slipknot, Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, Justin Hawkins of The Darkness and all three members of Green Day. Across the Atlantic, the band has shared arena stages with ZZ Top and rocked an audience of 30,000 at the UK’s Download festival. And in Germany, Feel The Steel was proclaimed ‘Best Debut Album’ in the Metal Hammer awards.
Arriving in 2009 with debut album Feel The Steel – hailed by Kerrang! magazine as “close to perfect” – Steel Panther has won a legion of fans across the world. And now the band is aiming even higher with second album Balls Out. Released worldwide through Universal Music on November 1, 2011, Balls Out is another masterpiece of kick-ass rock and roll.
