It is exciting to see the breadth of nominations submitted from around the world..., said Steve Hurff, vice president of marketing and sales, DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products.
Chicago, Illinois (PRWEB) April 11, 2013
Etavonni™ Products announced today that FrozenPeaz® Hot and Cold Therapy Products have been selected as runner-up in the DuPont Tate & Lyle Innovation Award Program for its patent pending FrozenPeaz® hot and cold therapy products. The Zemea® Innovation Award program is designed to recognize companies who have commercialized innovative cosmetics and personal care ingredients or finished products that contain Zemea® propanediol. Nominations from around the world were reviewed by a panel of judges including Tom Branna, vice president and editorial director of HAPPI magazine, Steve Herman, chair of the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists and professor of cosmetic science at Fairleigh Dickinson University, and Steve Hurff, vice president of marketing and sales, DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products.
"It is exciting to see the breadth of nominations submitted from around the world where Zemea® is a critical part of the innovation achievements,” said Steve Hurff, vice president of marketing and sales, DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products.
FrozenPeaz® utilizes Zemea® in their Clear Ice™ Solution. Etavonni™ chose to avoid petroleum based glycol and glycerin gels in search of a natural, biobased alternative. Zemea® is approved as a natural ingredient by Ecocert and the Natural Products Association; is certified 100 percent biobased by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and has both Kosher and Halal certifications. “FrozenPeaz is a brand new product and has only been on the market since January of this year,” commented MaryCarol Dolivier, co-founder of FrozenPeaz®. “Being so new, we were overwhelmed with the honor of coming in second. This award serves as industry acknowledgement of our success in developing a truly innovative and revolutionary product.”
“True innovation requires creative design thinking to understand how to apply new technologies and materials, like Zemea, to create evolutionary products that meet consumer needs,” noted Arthur Blackwood, co-founder of FrozenPeaz®.
