Many retailers decide to leave preparation until the last minute whilst others sometimes ignore it completely and do all their changes when the season is already upon them. However, smart businesses will see the advantage in getting a head start and will likely end up benefiting from their early input.
GardenToolbox, one of the big online retailers in the gardening industry kick-started their preparation last week and now another online retailer, Garden-Watering.co.uk has decided to follow their big brother’s lead.
The GardenWatering website is exactly what it says on the tin; the site is focused on watering and irrigation solutions to aid garden health and appearance. With this in mind, members of staff have spent a good amount of time over the winter months researching and getting in contact with manufacturers and suppliers that offer only the best garden watering products. Some are big, well known brands in the UK, whilst others are common brands in other countries such as Elho in the Netherlands.
Gabi, Product Manager commented: “We realise the importance of making sure our line is up to date for the coming popular seasons. This is why we dedicate a lot of time to researching and finding good products that will benefit our customers as well as the business. Many retailers will only look at stocking products with big margins in order to increase profit, but we ensure our products will benefit those who buy from us – that’s what keeps us going!”
As well as this, Gabi also noted the following: “When the spring season officially hits, as well as launching various lines of products on the site, we’ll also be putting special discounts on those that we’re discontinuing. Hopefully that will offer shoppers the best of both worlds; new products and bargains!”
The plan sounds very comprehensive and everyone at GardenWatering.co.uk is looking forward to the new season, in order to get this all under way.
GardenWatering.co.uk is currently run from the constantly expanding Online Home Retail Network which at present hosts in excess of 50 different websites. These niche sites sell everything from bathroom taps to whirlpool baths and even repair kits which can all be found at the following site: http://www.plumbworld.co.uk. Online Home Retail Limited first started out as Plumbworld Ltd back in 1999 and since then it has been bought by the Grafton Group PLC in 2006 and received a major rebrand in 2012. The business now employs 60 people in its purpose built warehouse/offices and has a total turnover nearing £25 million per year.
