Most people would probably agree that providing a positive experience for patients is a good idea and one that makes sense intuitively.

Cleveland, Ohio (PRWEB) February 08, 2013

In the January 2013 issue of the Association of Cancer Executives’ (ACE) quarterly newsletter, Improving the Patient Experience and the Bottom Line, an article written by Carol Santalucia, vice president, CHAMPS Patient Experience, was featured on the front page.

“Providing a positive experience for patients is not necessarily something that needs to be justified,” Santalucia said. “Most people would probably agree that providing a positive experience for patients is a good idea and one that makes sense intuitively. But it also makes sense for a lot of other, more concrete reasons like improved care for patients, increased patient loyalty and a better financial position for healthcare organizations.”

Throughout the article, Improving the Patient Experience and the Bottom Line, Santalucia explains ways to achieve this.

ACE’s January 2013 newsletter was distributed to attendees at the 19th Association of Cancer Executives Meeting in San Antonio, Texas. To read the full article, Improving the Patient Experience and the Bottom Line, visit CHAMPS Patient Experience's website.
