The Links to the Heart Golf Tournament, a benefit for Pathways Home Health and Hospice, will be held on Monday, July 15, 2013, with registration and putting contest at 11 am, and shotgun start at 12:30. Players participating in the 1st Annual Links to the Heart Golf Tournament will have the rare opportunity to play at the picturesque Stanford University Golf Course while supporting hospice care.
The Stanford University Golf Course was designed in 1930 by renowned golf course architects William Bell and George C. Thomas. Located in the foothills above the Stanford University Campus, the golf course is consistently rated one of the finest courses in the world. In 2009, Stanford was rated the nation's 3rd best college course by golf coaches.
The 1st Annual Links to the Heart Golf Tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 12:30 pm. The registration fee is $375 per player or $1,500 for a foursome. The Hole-in-One prize is a 2013 Lexus IS 250, compliments of Magnussen Lexus of Fremont. The registration fee includes a putting contest, welcome bag, box lunch, refreshments on the course, golf cart, Long Drive and Closest to the Pin contest holes, a wine and beer reception, dinner on the grounds, and prizes.
