As part of a recent company-wide sales contest, each of LocalEdge’s sixteen sales teams was challenged to “compete” for a charity of their choice. Winnings would be donated to a charity of the team’s choice. LocalEdge’s Southern Tier team chose to donate to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. St. Jude is a unique pediatric treatment and research facility that works with some of the world’s most gifted researchers to treat children with cancer and other devastating diseases. According to Richard C. Shadyac, Jr., CEO, this donation has helped nine-week old Phoebe fight acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Phoebe underwent five days of chemotherapy, followed by an infusion of her mother’s natural killer cells. Phoebe is now doing well, but has a long road ahead of her. LocalEdge is proud to support Phoebe, and all other children fighting cancer, as they fight for their lives.
