John Howard, L.Ac, Dipl. Ac. of the Maryland Acupuncture Clinic: Specializing in Pain Management for Chronic and Acute Pain, Sports Related Injuries, Headaches/Migraines and GI Disorders.
John Howard, L.Ac., Dipl., Ac., is originally from New Jersey. He grew up in south Florida. After he graduated from high school he joined the US Navy as a Corpsman (Medic). He also served with the US Marine Corps as a Field Combat Medic. He then attended the Army’s 18 Delta program, because he qualified after a rigorous selection process to train as Special Forces Medical Sergeant. This program is to train the branch of the US Army before they become members of the elite Delta Force. John was injured while on active duty and was medically retired from the US Navy. He also worked at George Washington University Hospital. While there he was an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine; he taught fourth year medical students minor trauma and suturing. He currently has a full time acupuncture clinic and teaches seminars on Battlefield Acupuncture and Advanced Acupuncture Techniques in the area and throughout the country.
The Maryland Acupuncture Clinic in Gaithersburg Maryland is treating every person that comes through our doors in the month of December for free. It doesn’t matter what your condition or pain is. John hopes by helping others over the holiday season this year he can make a positive difference in the lives of others in some small way. The treatments are on a first come first serve basis. There is no limit to how many treatments you can receive during the month as long as space is available.
