Maternal & Family Health Services, Inc. (MFHS) announces its 40th Anniversary Celebration Gala will be taking place on Saturday, November 5th, 2011. MFHS invites the community of Northeast Pennsylvania to join them as they celebrate and give thanks for Maternal & Family Health Services and their 40 year history of providing help, hope, and quality care for women and children throughout their service area.
The Maternal & Family Health Services 40th Anniversary Gala will take place at the iconic Westmoreland Club in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on Saturday, November 5th from 6:00pm – 11:00pm. Tickets are $140 per person, and the proceeds will benefit the programs for women, children and families at Maternal & Family Health Services. The 40th Anniversary Gala’s theme is “Giving Thanks” and will be carried out throughout the evening with beautiful fall décor and a Thanksgiving themed dinner. The gala will feature dinner and dancing with music provided by Group Du Jour. The evening will culminate with a live auction, featuring auction items such as a ruby pedant from Bartikowsky Jewelers in Wilkes-Barre, wine & dine baskets, a trip to Washington D.C., spa gift packages, and more.
MFHS is also selling raffle tickets for a 7 day/6 night Deluxe Walt Disney World vacation that includes accommodations at a deluxe resort and park tickets for a family of four. Tickets are $20 each and only 500 total are being sold. The winner will be announced at the Anniversary Gala on November 5th. Details about the raffle can be found on the MFHS blog.
