Muzak Texas is proud to partner with the San Antonio Food Bank. Brett Balthrope, President of Muzak Texas announced that his office and employees initiated a food drive on February 22, and on March 2, Muzak Texas employees will volunteer at the San Antonio Food Bank for a day sorting food.
“The San Antonio Food Bank is a great organization with a long-standing commitment to the community through volunteerism. We are proud to be involved with the food bank,” said Balthrope, President of Muzak Texas.
Balthrope, a life-long San Antonio native, attributes his success directly to his community – the people of the city of San Antonio, and loyal clients. “For me, San Antonio is not just a place to do business, it’s like my business has become part of the family and culture of San Antonio. Many individuals and companies in the community have helped my family business grow year after year,” he said.
“Our philosophy of giving something back to the communities where we live and work guides our volunteerism and corporate giving programs. We are an integral part of our communities, and our customers benefit from our corporate citizenship programs,” he added.
The San Antonio Food Bank (SAFB) is a non-profit organization that serves as a clearinghouse by receiving and storing donated food, produce and other grocery produce. SAFB distributes these items in manageable quantities for over 500 service agencies to help people in need.
