NAPW The Woodlands, TX Local Chapter Welcomed Five New Members to its Pre-Launch Meetings in October

Members and guests of NAPW The Woodlands, TX Local Chapter gathered twice on October 3rd for professional networking meetings at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center-Tuscany Ristorante located at Lake Robbins Drive. The group of professional women got together first for a networking luncheon and then again for an after-work gathering at 7:00pm. Plans for the Chapter’s upcoming events including the January 9th launch meeting and a holiday party were discussed.

Katherine Seitan-Frowijn, NAPW The Woodlands Local Chapter President kicked off both meetings by welcoming everyone, including the five new members who were attending their first Chapter meetings.

“I would like to extend a very warm welcome to our newest Chapter members,” said Katherine.

“We are all looking forward to getting to know each one of you better and hope that they attend the launch!”

The Chapter President spoke briefly about upcoming Chapter events and opportunities and encouraged attendees to check out The Woodlands Chapter Page on napw.com for more details and up-to-date information.

Katherine also announced the election of a Chapter Board still needs to take place. To date, the following members have expressed a possible interest: Dianne Buck, Vice President; Neesh
Brand, Historian; and Sherri Segari, Social Coordinator, Self-Improvement.

In addition to the Chapter launch event that will be held January 9th, members and guests also discussed having a holiday party. It was decided that the Chapter Christmas party, which will include significant others, will be held December 5th at 7:00pm at the same location.

The following new members were present for the meetings:

Dianne Buck, Owner of Dianne’s Custom Floral Designs, creates unique silk floral arrangements with a specialty in country western themes using cowboy boots, belts, and whatever else she can get her hands on. Additionally she is skilled at wine cork designs and wreaths.

Balvinder Kaur Chaturvedi or Neesh Brand, her preferred nickname, is the Global Head-Enabling Life Coach for BElife, LLC. Neesh recently relocated to Montgomery, TX from India as a result of her job and specializes in psychological counseling and providing solutions for life issues by helping her clients manage their five-key areas.    

Virginia de Bond, Financial Controller with Spring Surgical Center, is currently in charge of developing and implementing an effective system of accounting, managing the payroll system, and maintaining accurate and current bylaw records. She was promoted to this position in February 2012.

Judy Reynolds, guest of Katherine Seitan-Frowijn through the registration website Eventbrite, is a Realtor with Register Realty Company, Inc. Judy lives and provides the majority of her services in The Woodlands and surrounding areas.

Sherri Segari, guest of Katherine Seitan-Frowijn through the registration website Eventbrite, is an Executive Employment Recruiter with Stewart Cooper & Coon. Sherri also volunteers a majority of her time with various local charities and venues, including but not limited to, Food & Vine Time Productions.    

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) is the largest and most recognized network of female professionals.
