Members and guests of the NAPW The Woodlands, TX Local Chapter gathered on November 7th for a professional networking luncheon at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott. This was the Chapter’s second pre-launch meeting. During the networking event, the group of professional women discussed plans for the upcoming holiday celebration event and welcomed the Chapter’s newest member.
NAPW The Woodlands, TX Local Chapter President Katherine Seitan-Frowijn kicked off the pre-launch event by welcoming members and guests to the Marriott, which is located on The Waterway in Town Center, adjacent to retail shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
Our top priority was the upcoming holiday celebration event on December 5th,” said Katherine. “We discussed the meal selection and how interested members may secure a table to display and sell their products at the event."
Other agenda topics discussed during the pre-launch meeting included charity events the Chapter may become involved with and ways to grow The Woodlands Chapter. To that end, Katherine welcomed the Chapter’s newest member, Sherri Segari, a guest of the President’s through the registration website Eventbrite.
“Sherri made the decision to join The Woodlands, TX Local Chapter and we are thrilled to welcome her as a member,” said the Chapter President.
Sherri is an Executive Employment Recruiter with Stewart Cooper & Coon and a Culinary Events Coordinator with Food & Vine Time Productions. Sherri volunteers on a regular basis at the YMCA; as well as on a variety of other worthy charities.
