In addition to networking, the group of professional women had the opportunity to hear Dr. Shelley Hamler, Educator, Entrepreneur, and Cincinnati Local Chapter member, speak about how to attain financial freedom through Melaleuca: The Wellness Company.
NAPW Cincinnati Local Chapter President Tracey Rucker opened the monthly meeting with a warm welcome to members and guests.
After briefly speaking about NAPW and the many membership benefits, she invited the attendees to network.
“For the first 15 minutes of our meeting we had open networking. It was a great opportunity for members and guests to greet each other, introduce themselves, and talk about their careers and other details they wanted to share,” said the Chapter President.
Tracey introduced the evening’s guest speaker, Dr. Shelley Hamler, to the group of professional women.
“Dr. Hamler is an accomplished professional woman and a valued member of the Cincinnati Chapter. She is an Educational Instructor and Ajunct Professor at University of Cincinnati. She also works in the field of entrepreneurship and sees it as a means to financial freedom and stability,” said Tracey.
The guest speaker addressed the audience and spoke about the subject of finding freedom through Melaleuca. Dr. Hamler is a member of the Melaleuca: The Wellness Company, which delivers wellness to the general public.
The goal of the company is to provide wholesome, green products that are free of harmful chemicals and reduce or eliminate side effects of over-the-counter medications. Dr. Hamler explained that Melaleuca is an essential oil that is a key ingredient in the company’s products. It is better for the environment, safe for the home, and helps promote health; the company focuses on personal and environmental wellness.
According to Dr. Hamler, the program’s mission is helping stay-at-home moms and business professionals secure retirement, eliminate debt, and ultimately achieve financial freedom. To enjoy that freedom, the company provides products that are aimed at health and wellness.
Dr. Hamler spoke about Melaleuca’s mission: financial freedoms, safe effective products, environmentally safe products, and healthy living. She said the products are sold as concentrated products and are better and safer, help save money, and reduce waste. She mentioned that vitamins and supplements are more effective and helpful than store bought products.
Melaleuca provides safer products that are void of harmful and toxic ingredients and combine science and nature for safe and effective product; doctors and scientists work together to produce the healthy, green products.
Dr. Hamler told the group of professional women that the products have served the community for over 25 years.
Melaleuca products are made from all natural sustainable resources; are concentrated so you spend less; and are free of harsh chemicals that harm the environment and toxic to the health of humans. Products feature Melaleuca oil, spice thyme, citric acid (as in lemon and lime), and less water. They can be used for health and beauty and in cleaning products.
Melaleuca products are “one stop” for all your family needs and all products are safe and healthy.
“Dr. Hamler then spoke about what Melaleuca can do for the group of professional women,” said the Chapter President. “She told us it can lead to personal and financial freedom. It lets you put family first because you have the freedom of working the hours you want.
The guest speaker ended her presentation by providing members with her business cards. If interested in speaking to Dr. Hamler about Melaleuca, she will be happy to answer questions. She also has her own website.
