The Chapter hosted Michelle Broad, Owner and Creator of Well Women Network who shared with the group of professional women her “10 Tips to a New Sexier and Healthier You.”
San Diego Chapter President Rene Reyes opened the monthly meeting by welcoming all members and guests in attendance.
She then discussed the upcoming Conference in New York on Friday April 26th and encouraged members to attend.
After presenting a list of Chapter Officer roles to be filled at a later election, she asked that members to please consider where they would like to serve.
Rene also encouraged members to sign up if they would like to speak at upcoming meetings in the future.
The President reminded the group that the San Diego Chapter’s official launch will be held on May 9th from 12:30 to 2:30pm at +6Crush Restaurant, 437 S. Hwy 101 Suite 112, Solana Beach, CA.
Rene then introduced the evening’s guest speaker.
“Michelle Broad is going to share with us her ’10 Tips to a New Sexier and Healthier You,’” said Rene.
“Staying healthy and sexy is a choice” explained Ms. Broad, Creator of Well Women's Network. “Who knows a woman's body better than a woman?”
Ms. Broad started her presentation by saying that her definition of “sexy” is awareness of who you are, confidence, and being bold in all things you do, in order to have a healthy body, mind, and spirit.
She told members and guests that they can choose to stay healthy and sexy by choosing to lead a healthy lifestyle but the key is that they have to choose.
“At the completion of the presentation, members and guests were inspired and motivated by Ms. Broad's message; that where you are today, and what you choose from this day forward is what matters and that it is never too early or too late to choose,” said the Chapter President.
'’So choose to be the New Sexy,’ she told us!”
Members and guests in attendance discussed going back to having lunch meetings at different locations.
Members and guests in attendance at the April meeting included: Rene Reyes, Chapter President; Dorie Beaubien, Donna Gonser, Deena Tajran, Lisa Latven, Christine Vadai, Deanna Sanchez-Aardema, and Michelle Broad.
