The group of professional women heard a dynamic presentation by Author and Financial Educator Ornella Grosz who presented, “Sex & Money: Why Women are Better at it Than Men.”
“Our mission is to connect and empower our South Atlanta Chapter women by providing educational and social networking events while also giving back to our community,” said Chapter President Nancy Delgadillo.
“Well, we did just that at our February meeting!”
The Chapter President kicked off the meeting by warmly welcoming more than 80 women in attendance.
She briefly spoke about NAPW’s exciting new features for members and the opportunity for guests and nonmembers to become a part of this influential group of businesswomen.
“NAPW is an excellent way for like-minded professional women to network and support each other's goals.
Since our Chapter launched in 2012, we have been joined by over 1,100 amazing women in our monthly meetings ranging from business owners to corporate professionals to teachers to business coaches, just to name a few,” said Nancy.
Members and guests of the South Atlanta Local Chapter had the pleasure of hearing a lively keynote presentation titled, “Sex & Money: Why Women Are Better at It than Men” by Ornella Grosz, a CFEd®, Certified Financial Educator with over eight years of financial professional experience.
“Ms. Grosz’s presentation on “Sex & Money: Why Women Are Better at It than Men” was fascinating and energized the group of professional women,” said the Chapter President.
“Her book is required reading for a finance class at California State University of Northridge. She generously autographed a book and raffled it off to our audience.”
Before adjourning the meeting, Nancy reminded members and guests about upcoming South Atlanta Chapter meetings.
“Our next meeting will be in the form of a speed networking mixer on Thursday, March 21st from 6:30 to 9:00pm at Sage Woodfire Tavern Perimeter in conjunction with the North Atlanta Chapter,” said NAPW South Atlanta Local Chapter President Nancy.
All regular South Atlanta Chapter meetings are conveniently held at the Monarch Tower in Buckhead.
Members and guests are encouraged to RSVP early given that monthly meetings reach capacity weeks in advance.
