Members and guests of the NAPW Woodlands, TX Local Chapter gathered on February 6th and March 6th for professional networking meetings at the Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center-Tuscany Ristorante located at Lake Robbins Drive in The Woodlands.
There was plenty of networking between members and guests at both meetings.
During the Chapter launch event in February, the group of professional women enjoyed the chance to have a private photo shoot by a professional photographer.
NAPW The Woodlands Local Chapter President Katherine Seitan-Frowijn welcomed members and guests to the Chapter’s first official meeting in February.
After an hour of networking and getting to know one another, attendees introduced themselves to the crowd and exchanged business cards.
The President encouraged everyone to email their ideas to her about meeting topics, charities the group could support, guest speakers, and other networking event they would be interested in attending.
During the launch event, members were given an opportunity to have a private photo shoot by Photographer and Chapter member Trudy Rivich, which included a variety of headshot photos as well as some fun poses with different background options.
At least a dozen photos were taken of each individual. To add to the fun, members were able to select custom jewelry to wear for their photo shoot. Jewelry was provided by Stella Dot Stylist and Chapter member Elizabeth Santangelo.
“Everyone mingled, laughed, and had an exceptional time posing for pictures and trying on jewelry,” said the Chapter President.
In March, the group of professional women enjoyed another evening of lively networking and getting to know one another.
Chapter President Katherine reminded members about the upcoming NAPW National Networking Conference.
“This year’s annual event will be held on Friday, April 26th at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel,” said Katherine.
“The keynote speakers are Martha Stewart and Arianna Huffington and there are a number of exciting workshops, as well.”
The president passed out a two-page flyer detailing the event and program agenda, reminding members of the upcoming registration deadline of Friday, March 15th.
